Jhanelle Peters

Individual Therapy, Student Therapist

For several years, Jhanelle has worked in both Canada and the United States within Social Housing and Mental Health. Over the years Jhanelle has worked with individuals from diverse populations and socioeconomic backgrounds, helping them uncover negative patterns and behaviours that make life challenging to navigate. Her passion for helping others find their unique gift and seek personal growth led her to pursue a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

As a student, Jhanelle will be seeing clients under supervision and help them respond to life challenges in an empowering way. She believes that exploring life's hurdles works better in collaboration. With compassion and understanding at the forefront, she will work with clients to identify strengths, tools and personal determination that can lead to positive and lifelong changes.

In her free time, Jhanelle enjoys travelling; she believes the best way to connect with others is by embracing their environment, culture and beliefs.
