Over the last few years, she has worked with couples, families and individuals who have sought hope in times of crisis. Maria strongly believes that her clients hold the key to their happiness. As a therapist, her job is to support and offer guidance as her client’s journey unfolds. Taking this first step can be the most courageous, yet intimidating and vulnerable experience one may ever take. Maria recognizes this and welcomes her clients into a safe space with compassion, warmth and empathy. She offers therapy tailored to the needs of her clients.

As an Individual therapist, Maria will work with you to process emotional distress related to Stress, Anger, Anxiety, Depression and Grief, along with issues related to life transitions, attachment trauma and/or traumatic experiences. Additionally, she will work with you on issues related to the self and self-identity.

As a Couple and Family therapist, Maria aims to strengthen relational bonds by focusing on underlying issues triggering emotional distress. She specializes in improving communication patterns, identifying family dynamics and strengthening closeness and connection.

Maria also welcomes clients seeking to explore their spiritual and religious needs in therapy. She offers services in both English and Macedonian.

“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” ― Brené Brown
