Sitting with many hundreds of stories of emotional pain, disappointments, self-criticism, grief and bereavement, searches for answers to the deepest questions, as well as thousands of moments of important discoveries, new hopes and responsible choices, Karina learned that living well is an art.
The aim of her work to assist people in developing and consolidating their personal way of tackling life’s challenges so that they can find their own way again. She will be there to help to reassess the direction in which you are going. Learning to face the inevitable problems, upsets, and crises of existence with confidence is what therapy is all about. It can be one conversation or months of work together, but she always will be there by your side.
Karina holds the Bachelor and Masters Degree in Psychology and Education with Honors from one of the top universities in Russia and graduated from the International School for Psychotherapy, Counselling and Group Leadership and continuously updates her professional training with Canadian and international-based professional courses, workshops and programs. Her registration is with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, membership with Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals, American Psychological Association – Humanistic Division, International Network for Personal Meaning help to adhere to the utmost level of professional standards of practice.
Living life fully for Karina means to have time and space in her life for contemplation through practice of mindful presence and absorbing new knowledge as well as actively engaging in physical activities, travel and volunteering.
