Caroline is a Registered Social Worker/Psychotherapist with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Windsor, and an Honors Bachelor Degree in Psychology and Childhood Studies from Western University. She also completed a post-graduate program in Psychosocial Rehabilitation in Mental Health.

Caroline specializes in working with youth and adults experiencing mood disturbances, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, stress, relationship challenges, and more. She also supports individuals struggling with ADHD, challenges with substance use, and histories of trauma.

Caroline uses an integrative therapeutic approach, where elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance an Commitment Therapy (ACT) are used to support clients in their emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Caroline works with clients to provide a safe, open, and non-judgemental space to learn and explore more about themselves, while identifying unhelpful thought patterns, deepen self-awareness, and establish healthy coping strategies.

In previous work experiences, Caroline has provided psychotherapy to adults with severe and persistent mental illness in a hospital setting, and to youth experiencing a wide range of social and emotional struggles within a school setting.
