Rea Pallis is an intern therapist currently completing her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at the University of Toronto. She previously completed her Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Psychology with a minor in Health Studies from Queen’s University.

Rea brings several years of frontline experience to her therapeutic work. She has worked as a Case Manager for the Canadian Mental Health Association, supporting clients of all ages and diverse backgrounds in navigating mental health and social services. She is also passionate about the field of gender-based violence and previously worked as a counsellor at a violence-against-women shelter, offering trauma-informed support to both women and children. In addition to her professional roles, Rea has volunteered as a crisis line responder for a sexual assault crisis centre and as a group facilitator for a Living with Bipolar Disorder support group.

Rea approaches therapy with warmth, empathy, cultural humility, and a deep respect for each client’s lived experience. She strives to create a collaborative and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and identities with safety and support.

Outside of her clinical work, Rea enjoys reading, spending time with family, and taking her dog on hikes.
