I’m originally from the North Shore of New Brunswick but have been calling Nova Scotia home for the past 16 years. I’m now excited to be offering virtual services to individuals and families in Ontario.
Outside of work, I’m a big fan of basketball, cycling, running, traveling, 90’s music, and anything outdoors that’s summer related. Winter… not so much!
I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph, a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Victoria, and a Master of Social Work (Clinical) from the University of Waterloo. With over 15 years of experience in the field of mental health and addictions, I’ve witnessed how easy it can be to get stuck in patterns of unhelpful thinking and behavior.
My goal is to help individuals, couples, and families cultivate the motivation and tools they need to create meaningful change. I take a trauma-informed, holistic approach, working collaboratively with each person to tailor treatment plans that break old routines and establish healthier ones.
