About the event

Do you ever feel like you and your partner keep having the same argument - even when the details change?

This 45-minute psychoeducational session is designed to help individuals and couples understand why conflict repeats, and how our conflict styles shape the way we show up in moments of stress.

Rather than focusing on communication tips or problem-solving, this session explores the patterns underneath conflict, including how emotional triggers and nervous system responses influence our reactions.

You’ll also be introduced to the concept of conflict styles, represented through simple animal metaphors created by Clarinda Brandão from her book Fight Smarter, Love Stronger, to help you better understand:

  • How you tend to respond during conflict

  • What your reactions are trying to protect
