Caroline (she/her) is a warm and empathetic student psychotherapist with a client-centered, collaborative and integrative approach to therapy. Believing that the clients are the experts in their own lives, she will empower and support them in each step of their therapeutic journey, so their goals can be achieved, and they can become the best version of themselves.

Because every client is unique, Caroline takes the time to understand their worldviews, adapting to the client’s needs and using an integrative approach. She implements elements from different evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Mindfulness. Those modalities resonate with her due to their effectiveness in addressing a wide range of mental health concerns but also on their focus on building and maintaining a strong client-therapist relationship.

Her areas of interest include postpartum and parental mental health, depression, anxiety, stress, as well as life transitions, including parenthood, immigration and relationships. Caroline works from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, culturally-informed, feminist and sex-positive perspectives, creating a non-judgmental, safe and accepting space for all genders, sexualities, cultures, relationships and family structures while also taking into consideration their intersectionalities.

She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and working towards registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). When Caroline is not working, she spends time with her family, going to concerts, trying new restaurants and enjoying all forms of art and audiovisual content.
