We are currently hiring: Registered Psychotherapist or Social Worker

Psychotherapy In The City (PITC) is a leading mental health and wellness private practice nestled in Toronto's vibrant Bloor West. We are excited to extend an invitation to a passionate Registered Psychotherapist or Social Worker to join our flourishing team.

 

At PITC, we are dedicated to cultivating a nurturing and inclusive environment for both our clients and therapists. We offer Clinical Supervision and monthly team meetings to foster collaboration and growth. As we embark on an exciting phase of growth, we seek therapists who embody compassion and possess a genuine love for their work.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum Master’s Degree in Psychology or a minimum of 500+ Counselling Hours.

• Minimum of 4 years of individual and two years of couple's counselling experience.

• Excellent report and clinical record-keeping writing skills.

• Experience in the treatment of emotional, cognitive and behavioural dysfunction

• Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

• Experience with groups (not mandatory).

• Participates in team conferences to discuss clients’ treatment plans and goals, the progress made to date, and any barriers to treatment.

• Works closely with the team, providing insights and strategies from a psychosocial perspective to enhance the broader treatment approach.

• Those eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario or the College of Registered Psychotherapists.

• Must provide your own insurance.
